Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ADCYAP1R1, also known as the receptor for adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) and pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide (PACAP), plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, including circadian rhythms, neuroprotection, and stress response. As a member of the PACAP receptor family, ADCYAP1R1 is linked to significant neurobiological functions, particularly within the central nervous system. Its dysregulation has been implicated in several neuropsychiatric disorders, such as anxiety, depression, and schizophrenia, highlighting the need for a deeper understanding of its signaling pathways. Research into ADCYAP1R1 and its recombinant proteins aims to elucidate its functional mechanisms and interactions with other neuropeptides, which could lead to novel therapeutic strategies. Recombinant proteins of ADCYAP1R1 facilitate the study of its structure, binding properties, and downstream signaling pathways in controlled experimental environments. Furthermore, these proteins serve as valuable tools for investigating the potential of ADCYAP1R1 as a pharmacological target for treating stress-related disorders and enhancing cognitive functions. Understanding the receptor's role in various neurophysiological contexts could unveil new avenues for intervention and improve treatment approaches for patients suffering from related conditions.
