Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RAB11FIP1, or RAB11 family interacting protein 1, is a key player in intracellular trafficking and membrane recycling processes. It acts as a specific effector for the RAB11 small GTPase, which is essential for the recycling of endosomal compartments and plays a critical role in maintaining cellular homeostasis. The protein is primarily localized to recycling endosomes and is involved in various cellular functions, including cytokinesis, the trafficking of receptors to the plasma membrane, and the regulation of signaling pathways. Given its pivotal role in these processes, RAB11FIP1 has garnered attention in studies related to various diseases, including cancer, where altered membrane trafficking can contribute to tumor progression and metastasis. Additionally, its involvement in neurodegenerative disorders has been explored, as dysfunctional endocytic pathways have been linked to abnormal protein accumulation. The generation of recombinant RAB11FIP1 protein facilitates investigations into its structural and functional characteristics, enabling researchers to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying its interactions and effects on cellular dynamics. Understanding RAB11FIP1's interactions and regulatory mechanisms may provide insights into its potential as a therapeutic target and help in the development of strategies to modulate its function in pathological conditions, thereby highlighting its significance in cell biology and medicine.
