Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PLA2G2E, or phospholipase A2 group IIE, is an enzyme belonging to the phospholipase A2 family, which plays a critical role in lipid metabolism and inflammatory processes. Research into this protein has gained momentum due to its potential involvement in various physiological and pathological conditions, including cancer, autoimmune diseases, and neurodegenerative disorders. PLA2G2E is predominantly expressed in human tissues, and its enzymatic activity is linked to the hydrolysis of phospholipids, leading to the release of fatty acids that can act as mediators of inflammation. Recent studies suggest that aberrant expression of PLA2G2E may contribute to the progression of certain diseases, making it a target for therapeutic intervention. Understanding its structure and function through the production of recombinant PLA2G2E protein can provide insights into its biological mechanisms and interactions. This research can facilitate drug design and the development of strategies to modulate its activity in disease contexts. Biochemical characterization of recombinant PLA2G2E also offers opportunities to explore its potential as a biomarker for disease diagnosis and prognosis, further highlighting the importance of this enzyme in biomedical research.
