Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C18orf8, also known as "Chromosome 18 Open Reading Frame 8," is a gene that has garnered interest due to its potential role in various biological processes and its links to human diseases. Initially, its function was largely unknown, but recent studies have suggested that C18orf8 may be involved in critical cellular functions, such as gene regulation and cell signaling. The protein encoded by C18orf8 has been implicated in several conditions, including cancers and neurological disorders, making it a candidate for further investigation in biomedical research. Its unique structure and potential post-translational modifications suggest that C18orf8 could be involved in complex protein interactions, highlighting the necessity of producing recombinant protein for detailed functional studies. By creating C18orf8 recombinant protein, researchers aim to elucidate its role in cellular pathways, examine its interactions with other proteins, and assess its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target. The study of C18orf8 may ultimately contribute to a better understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying diseases and pave the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies.
