Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LGALS1, also known as galectin-1, is a carbohydrate-binding protein that plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including cell adhesion, immune response, and apoptosis. Its expression is often upregulated in tumors, making it a significant focus of cancer research. The protein is involved in tumor progression by promoting immune evasion and influencing the tumor microenvironment. Recent studies suggest that LGALS1 interacts with glycoproteins and glycolipids, modulating cell signaling pathways and affecting cellular behavior. As a result, researchers are increasingly interested in recombinant LGALS1 for its potential therapeutic applications, including targeting tumors and manipulating immune responses. The production of recombinant LGALS1 allows for the examination of its functional properties in controlled conditions, providing insights into its biological roles and therapeutic potential. Investigating this protein's structure and function could lead to novel strategies for cancer treatment and immunotherapy, highlighting the importance of understanding LGALS1's mechanisms in disease progression and treatment approaches.
