Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PSMD3, a subunit of the 26S proteasome, plays a crucial role in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, which is essential for protein degradation and regulation of cellular processes. The dysregulation of this system is implicated in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Recent research has highlighted the importance of PSMD3 in modulating proteasome activity and its involvement in the degradation of key regulatory proteins that control cell cycle, apoptosis, and signal transduction pathways. Given its pivotal function, PSMD3 is emerging as a potential therapeutic target for enhancing proteasome activity in diseases where protein misfolding and accumulation occur. The production of recombinant PSMD3 protein allows for in-depth biochemical and structural studies, providing insights into its functional mechanisms and interactions within the proteasome complex. These studies contribute to the understanding of the role of PSMD3 in cellular homeostasis and may guide the development of novel strategies for therapeutic intervention in proteasome-related diseases.
