Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of PSD3 (Post-Synaptic Density Protein 3) and its recombinant forms has gained significant attention due to its critical role in neural signaling and synaptic plasticity. PSD3 is a prominent member of the PSD family of proteins, which are essential for the organization and function of the post-synaptic density (PSD) in neurons, where they interact with receptors, scaffolding proteins, and signaling molecules to facilitate synaptic transmission and modulation. Recent research has highlighted the importance of PSD3 in various neurological processes, including learning and memory, as well as in the pathophysiology of neurodevelopmental and psychiatric disorders. The use of recombinant PSD3 proteins allows scientists to investigate the structure-function relationships, interactions, and regulatory mechanisms underlying its involvement in synaptic dynamics. Additionally, recombinant PSD3 can serve as a valuable tool for identifying potential therapeutic targets and developing strategies for modulating synaptic function in diseases where PSD3 is implicated. By further elucidating the biological roles of PSD3 through advanced research methods, researchers aim to enhance our understanding of synaptic biology and its relevance to cognitive functions, ultimately contributing to the development of novel interventions for neuropsychiatric conditions.
