Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The research background of PSD2 (postsynaptic density protein 2) reconstituted proteins is rooted in the understanding of neuronal signaling pathways and synaptic function. PSD2 is a crucial scaffolding protein found in the postsynaptic density of excitatory synapses, primarily associated with the regulation of glutamatergic signaling. It interacts with various proteins, including receptors and kinases, playing a vital role in synaptic plasticity, learning, and memory. Recent advances in structural biology and biochemistry have enabled the characterization of PSD2’s interactions and conformational dynamics, leading to insights into its role in synaptic organization and function. Researchers are particularly interested in reconstituting PSD2 in vitro to study its interactions and functions in a controlled environment, which is essential for elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying synaptic transmission and disorders related to synaptic dysfunction, such as autism and schizophrenia. By reconstructing PSD2 with specific binding partners, scientists aim to develop a more comprehensive understanding of its role within the synaptic complex and may pave the way for targeted therapeutic strategies in neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric diseases.
