Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SERPINB9, also known as proteinase inhibitor 9, is a member of the serpin superfamily and plays a crucial role in various biological processes, particularly in the regulation of apoptosis and immune responses. It functions primarily as an inhibitor of caspases, which are key enzymes involved in programmed cell death. The regulation of apoptosis is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis, and dysregulation of this process can lead to numerous diseases, including cancer and autoimmune disorders. In recent years, research has increasingly focused on SERPINB9 due to its potential as a biomarker for tumors and its involvement in cancer progression. Studies have shown that elevated levels of SERPINB9 can confer a protective advantage to cancer cells, allowing them to evade apoptosis and contribute to tumor survival and growth. Additionally, SERPINB9's role in modulating the immune response has garnered attention, particularly in the context of viral infections and chronic inflammatory conditions. The generation of recombinant SERPINB9 protein has enabled researchers to investigate its structure-function relationships, therapeutic potential, and interactions with other cellular proteins. This has further implications for developing new therapeutic strategies that target SERPINB9-related pathways. Understanding the precise mechanisms by which SERPINB9 exerts its effects may lead to innovative approaches in cancer treatment and the management of immune-related diseases, highlighting the importance of continued research in this area.
