Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PSCD3, or Phosphatidylserine Decarboxylase 3, is a protein implicated in various cellular processes, particularly in the biosynthesis of phosphatidylethanolamine, a crucial phospholipid in cell membranes. Research into PSCD3 has gained significance due to its potential roles in neurodegenerative diseases, apoptosis, and cellular signaling pathways. Deficiencies or dysregulation of PSCD3 have been linked to altered membrane dynamics and cellular stress responses, which can contribute to the pathogenesis of diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. Recent studies have sought to elucidate the mechanistic functions of PSCD3 at the molecular level, exploring its interaction with other proteins and its impact on lipid metabolism. The development of recombinant PSCD3 has further enabled researchers to investigate its biochemical properties, enzymatic activity, and structural characteristics, providing insights that could lead to novel therapeutic strategies. As understanding of PSCD3 expands, it holds promise as a biomarker for disease progression and a potential target for drug development, underscoring the importance of ongoing research in this field.
