Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
STAT5B, a member of the Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription (STAT) family, plays a crucial role in mediating cytokine signaling and regulating various biological processes, including cell growth, survival, and differentiation. Its activity is tightly regulated, and abnormal STAT5B signaling is implicated in various pathologies, particularly hematological malignancies and solid tumors. Studies have revealed that mutations and dysregulation of STAT5B can lead to oncogenic transformations, making it a potential therapeutic target for cancer treatment. The recombinant expression of STAT5B protein has gained significant attention in research, enabling scientists to elucidate its structure-function relationships and signaling pathways. By producing STAT5B in various expression systems, researchers have sought to analyze its activation mechanisms, post-translational modifications, and interaction with other signaling proteins. Furthermore, recombinant STAT5B can be utilized in screening for small molecules or peptides that might inhibit its activity, representing a strategic approach in drug discovery. Understanding the underlying mechanisms of STAT5B function through recombinant protein studies is vital for developing novel therapeutic strategies against diseases associated with its dysregulation.
