Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-21 (IL-21) is a key cytokine that plays a critical role in regulating immune responses and maintaining homeostasis within the immune system. It is primarily produced by T cells, particularly follicular helper T cells, and has been shown to influence the function and development of various immune cell types, including B cells, natural killer (NK) cells, and T cells. The significance of IL-21 in immune modulation highlights its potential as a target for therapeutic interventions in various diseases, including autoimmune disorders, cancer, and infectious diseases. Research has demonstrated that recombinant IL-21 proteins can enhance B cell differentiation and antibody production, boost T cell responses, and improve the efficacy of cancer immunotherapies. Moreover, IL-21's ability to combat chronic viral infections adds to its therapeutic appeal. The production of recombinant IL-21 involves sophisticated biotechnological methods, ensuring high purity and bioactivity, which are essential for preclinical and clinical studies. Understanding the structure-function relationship of IL-21 and its signaling pathways is crucial for optimizing its use in therapeutic contexts. Hence, ongoing research into the recombinant expression of IL-21 aims to elucidate its biological functions further, develop novel applications in immunotherapy, and explore its potential to mitigate immune-related diseases.
