Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ANOS1, also known as KAL1, is a gene critical for the development of the olfactory system and the regulation of reproductive functions. Mutations or deletions in the ANOS1 gene are associated with Kallmann syndrome, a condition characterized by the absence of smell (anosmia) and hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, leading to delayed or absent puberty. Research on ANOS1 recombinant protein is essential for understanding its biological function and the mechanisms underlying Kallmann syndrome. The production of ANOS1 recombinant protein allows for detailed studies of its structural properties, interactions with other molecular partners, and its role in neuronal development. Additionally, investigating the potential therapeutic applications of ANOS1, such as gene therapy or protein replacement strategies, may offer new avenues for addressing reproductive and olfactory deficiencies related to its dysfunction. Overall, the study of ANOS1 recombinant protein could provide critical insights into both fundamental neuroscience and clinical treatments for related disorders.
