Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Insulin-like growth factor binding protein 5 (IGFBP5) is a member of the IGFBP family, which plays a crucial role in modulating the bioavailability and activity of insulin-like growth factors (IGFs). IGFBP5 is known to be involved in various biological processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. Its expression is tightly regulated during development, and alterations in its levels have been associated with various pathological conditions, including cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. Recent studies have highlighted the significance of IGFBP5 in cancer biology, where it can function both as a tumor promoter and suppressor, depending on the cellular context. The recombinant form of IGFBP5 has been developed to explore its functional roles and therapeutic potential. Research involving recombinant IGFBP5 aims to understand its interaction with IGFs and other molecular partners, investigate its influence on cell signaling pathways, and evaluate its potential use in targeted therapies. By elucidating the mechanisms of IGFBP5 action, scientists hope to pave the way for innovative treatments that leverage its unique properties in disease modulation.
