Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-13 (IL-13) is a pivotal cytokine produced primarily by Th2 cells, playing a crucial role in mediating immune responses, particularly in allergic reactions and asthma. It is a key regulator of inflammation, influencing the activation and differentiation of various immune cells. IL-13 has been implicated in the pathogenesis of numerous diseases, including atopic dermatitis, chronic rhinosinusitis, and fibrotic disorders, making it a target for therapeutic interventions. The study of recombinant IL-13 protein has gained significant attention due to its potential in elucidating the mechanisms of Th2-mediated responses and its application in developing novel treatments. Researchers focus on understanding the structure-function relationship of IL-13 to design specific inhibitors or monoclonal antibodies that could attenuate its activity. Moreover, recombinant IL-13 is utilized in experimental models to better comprehend its role in immune regulation and disease progression. The ongoing research aims to harness the therapeutic potential of IL-13 modulation, paving the way for innovative strategies in managing allergic diseases and related conditions. By exploring the intricacies of IL-13 signaling pathways, scientists hope to identify biomarkers for disease prognosis and progression, ultimately leading to improved clinical outcomes.
