Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IL1RN, or Interleukin-1 receptor antagonist, is a crucial naturally occurring cytokine that plays a vital role in the regulation of inflammatory responses within the human body. It acts by binding to the interleukin-1 (IL-1) receptor, thereby inhibiting the activity of pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-1α and IL-1β, which are implicated in various pathological conditions, including autoimmune disorders, chronic inflammatory diseases, and metabolic syndromes. Research into IL1RN has gained momentum due to its potential therapeutic applications, particularly in the treatment of diseases characterized by excessive inflammation, such as rheumatoid arthritis and type 2 diabetes. Recombinant IL1RN has been developed and studied for its efficacy in modulating immune responses and providing relief from chronic inflammation. Several clinical trials have demonstrated the benefits of IL1RN in improving patient outcomes and mitigating symptoms associated with inflammatory diseases. As a result, understanding the structure, function, and potential applications of IL1RN recombinant protein is critical for developing targeted therapies and enhancing the effectiveness of existing treatments. The ongoing research aims to optimize the production and delivery methods of this protein, further elucidate its mechanism of action, and explore its role in various disease contexts, paving the way for new therapeutic strategies to combat inflammation-related conditions.
