Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FBXL18 is a member of the F-box protein family, which plays a crucial role in ubiquitin-mediated protein degradation, a vital cellular process that regulates various biological functions, including cell cycle progression, signal transduction, and apoptosis. Recent studies have suggested that FBXL18 may be involved in developmental processes and cancer progression. Researchers have been interested in its role as a substrate adaptor for the SCF (Skp1-Cul1-F-box) ubiquitin ligase complex, potentially regulating the degradation of specific target proteins that influence cell proliferation and differentiation. The protein's expression profile in different tissues and its interaction with other cellular pathways indicate its significance in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Furthermore, aberrant expression of FBXL18 has been linked to several malignancies, making it a potential biomarker for disease progression and a therapeutic target. As such, producing recombinant FBXL18 protein is critical for investigating its structural properties, functional mechanisms, and interactions with other proteins. Understanding FBXL18's biology could elucidate its role in physiological processes and its potential contributions to pathological conditions, paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies. Researchers are currently focusing on characterizing FBXL18's function in various cellular contexts, its regulatory mechanisms, and the implications of its dysregulation in diseases, especially cancer. This comprehensive exploration of FBXL18 could offer insights into innovative treatments that leverage the modulation of ubiquitin-mediated pathways to restore normal cellular functions.
