Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
EZR, or Ezrin, is a member of the ERM (Ezrin-Radixin-Moesin) protein family, which plays a crucial role in linking the plasma membrane to the cytoskeleton and facilitating various cellular processes, including cell signaling, adhesion, and motility. Research on EZR has garnered significant attention due to its implicated roles in various physiological and pathological conditions, including cancer metastasis and immune response. The recombinant expression of EZR protein has become an essential tool in understanding its structure-function relationship, as well as its interactions with other cellular components. Scientists utilize various expression systems, such as bacterial, yeast, or mammalian cells, to produce functional EZR proteins for biochemical studies. Insights gained from these studies can illuminate the mechanisms by which EZR influences cellular behavior, helping in the development of potential therapeutic strategies targeting EZR-related pathways in diseases. Ongoing studies are focused on characterizing the post-translational modifications of EZR, elucidating its role in disease progression, and exploring its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in tumors. Given the complexity of EZR's interactions and functions, continued research is essential for translating these findings into clinical applications.
