Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CPA1, or carboxypeptidase A1, is a digestive enzyme predominantly secreted by the pancreas that plays a crucial role in the final stages of protein digestion. The study of CPA1 and its recombinant forms has gained significant attention due to its potential applications in both basic research and therapeutic development. Understanding the structure and function of CPA1 can provide insights into enzymatic mechanisms, protein processing, and the regulation of digestive pathways. In pathological conditions, such as pancreatic disorders, the activity and expression of CPA1 might be altered, leading to digestive challenges and other health complications. The recombinant production of CPA1 allows researchers to study its properties in detail, explore its substrate specificity, and assess its interactions with inhibitors and activators. Furthermore, recombinant CPA1 can serve as a valuable tool in protein engineering and biotechnology, aiding the development of novel therapeutics or diagnostic tools. The ability to produce this enzyme in a controlled manner opens avenues for investigating its role in various biological systems and could lead to industrial applications where CPA1 is utilized for protein processing or biocatalysis. Thus, the research on CPA1 not only contributes to a deeper understanding of digestive biology but also holds promise for advancing medical and biotechnological innovations.
