Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PPP1R1A, also known as Protein Phosphatase 1 Regulatory Inhibitor Subunit 1A, has garnered significant interest in the field of biomedical research due to its role in the regulation of protein phosphatase 1 (PP1), a serine/threonine phosphatase pivotal for various cellular processes including cell division, metabolism, and signal transduction. The study of PPP1R1A is particularly relevant as it is implicated in regulating neuronal signaling and synaptic plasticity, highlighting its potential contributions to cognitive function and neurological diseases. Dysregulation of the PPP1R1A-PP1 interaction can lead to pathological conditions such as schizophrenia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other neurodegenerative disorders. As researchers continue to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying these processes, the recombinant expression and characterization of PPP1R1A become crucial for developing therapeutic strategies. Additionally, the availability of recombinant PPP1R1A proteins enables in-depth studies on their functional role and interaction with other cellular components. This research can provide valuable insights into the development of targeted therapies aimed at modulating phosphatase activity and potentially alleviating the symptoms or progression of neurodegenerative diseases. The use of recombinant techniques also allows for the production of high-purity proteins necessary for structural studies and drug screening efforts, further advancing our understanding of this regulatory protein's role in health and disease. Such investigations into PPP1R1A are essential, not only for fundamental biology but also for the development of innovative treatments based on targeted modulation of phosphatase signaling pathways.
