Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CCT6A, a member of the chaperonin-containing TCP1 (CCT) complex, plays a crucial role in protein folding, assembly, and quality control within the cytosolic compartment of eukaryotic cells. This protein is particularly significant in the proper folding of cytoskeletal and mitochondrial proteins, aiding in the maintenance of cellular integrity and function. Recent studies have highlighted the implications of CCT6A in various cellular processes, including stress responses and the development of certain diseases, such as cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Given its essential functions, CCT6A has garnered interest as a potential therapeutic target. Researchers are investigating the use of recombinant CCT6A proteins to elucidate their structural and functional properties, aiming to better understand the molecular mechanisms of protein folding. The production of CCT6A as a recombinant protein allows for in-depth studies of its interactions and effects on other chaperonins, opening avenues for the development of novel strategies to modulate its activity in disease contexts. These investigations not only advance our fundamental understanding of protein homeostasis but also contribute to the broader field of proteostasis, which is vital for cellular health and longevity. As such, the exploration of CCT6A's role in cellular processes represents a promising frontier in biomedical research, with potential implications for the development of therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing protein folding mechanisms in human diseases.
