Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IGSF8 (Immunoglobulin Superfamily Member 8) is a protein encoded by the IGSF8 gene, which belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. This protein has been implicated in various biological processes, including cell adhesion, signaling, and the immune response. Recent studies suggest that IGSF8 may play a critical role in the development and function of the nervous system, particularly in the formation of synapses and neuronal connectivity. Furthermore, alterations in IGSF8 expression have been linked to several neurodevelopmental disorders and cancers, highlighting its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target. The recombinant expression of IGSF8 in various systems enables researchers to study its structure and function more comprehensively, facilitating the exploration of its mechanistic roles in cellular contexts. The development of recombinant IGSF8 protein is essential for conducting functional assays, structural analyses, and potential drug screenings, thereby contributing to our understanding of its diverse biological implications. Through these studies, scientists aim to elucidate the pathways involving IGSF8 and explore its relevance in both health and disease, paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies.
