Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PRDM5 (PR domain containing 5) is a member of the PRDM family of transcription factors, which are characterized by the presence of a PR/SET domain that facilitates various biological processes, including gene regulation, cell differentiation, and development. Research on PRDM5 has gained interest due to its potential roles in embryonic development and its implications in various diseases, including cancer. Studies have indicated that PRDM5 functions as a tumor suppressor in several cancers, as it regulates cell cycle progression and apoptosis. Its expression is often dysregulated in malignancies, leading to altered cellular responses and contributing to tumorigenesis. The recombinant protein of PRDM5 is particularly valuable for functional assays, allowing researchers to explore its molecular mechanisms, protein-protein interactions, and downstream effects in cellular pathways. This research could unveil novel therapeutic targets and strategies for cancer treatment. Furthermore, understanding the precise biological role of PRDM5 may illuminate its significance in normal physiology and the pathological processes underlying various diseases. Consequently, the study of PRDM5 and its recombinant forms not only expands our knowledge of transcriptional regulation but also fosters the development of innovative therapeutic approaches in oncology and regenerative medicine.
