Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C12orf40, also known as C12orf40 protein or the hypothetical protein C12orf40, is a recently identified gene located on chromosome 12. Little is known about its function, as it encodes a protein with no significant homology to known proteins in public databases. Preliminary studies suggest it may be involved in cellular processes such as proliferation and survival, implying a potential role in cancer biology. The importance of understanding this protein is underscored by its expression in various tissues, hinting at potential roles in development or pathology. Moreover, given the increasing interest in targeted therapies and the need for novel biomolecular targets in cancer treatment, the study of C12orf40 and its recombinant protein could reveal new insights into tumorigenesis and therapeutic interventions. Researchers aim to generate a stable recombinant C12orf40 protein for further functional analysis, including investigations into its structural properties, interaction with other cellular proteins, and involvement in signaling pathways. This research could ultimately contribute to the deciphering of its biological roles and potential applications in diagnostic or therapeutic strategies.
