稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BPIFA2, or BPI fold-containing family A member 2, is a protein predominantly expressed in human airway epithelial cells and is part of the innate immune response. Its significant role in host defense mechanisms has garnered research interest, particularly in relation to respiratory diseases. BPIFA2 has been shown to possess antimicrobial properties, contributing to the maintenance of airway homeostasis by modulating microbial populations and protecting against pathogenic infections. Additionally, the protein is hypothesized to interact with lipids and other molecules, influencing inflammation and immune responses. Studies have indicated that BPIFA2 may play a crucial role in conditions such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other respiratory disorders, making it a promising target for therapeutic intervention. The recombinant production of BPIFA2 has enabled detailed functional studies and potential applications in understanding its mechanism in immune modulation, which could lead to novel strategies for managing respiratory diseases. Researchers are exploring the implications of BPIFA2 in both health and disease, aiming to elucidate its full biological significance and potential as a biomarker or a therapeutic target in respiratory pathologies.
