Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RFWD2, also known as Ring Finger Protein 8 (RNF8), is an E3 ubiquitin ligase that plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, particularly in the regulation of protein degradation and DNA damage response. Research has shown that RFWD2 is involved in the assembly of DNA repair complexes, making it essential for maintaining genomic stability. Dysregulation or mutation of RFWD2 has been implicated in various cancers and other genetic disorders, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. Studies have demonstrated that RFWD2 mediates the ubiquitination of several key proteins involved in the cell cycle and stress responses, linking it to mechanisms of cell survival and apoptosis. Furthermore, its interaction with other proteins underscores its function in signal transduction pathways that respond to cellular stress. Given its multifaceted role in cellular homeostasis, characterizing RFWD2, including the production and study of its recombinant protein, can lead to a deeper understanding of its biological functions and the development of targeted therapies for diseases associated with its dysfunction. The exploration of RFWD2 not only enhances our knowledge of the ubiquitin-proteasome system but also contributes to the broader field of molecular biology and cancer research, making it an important subject for ongoing investigation.
