Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-35 (IL-35) is an anti-inflammatory cytokine primarily produced by regulatory T cells, known for its role in immune tolerance and modulation. It is a member of the IL-12 cytokine family and consists of two subunits: the interleukin-12 alpha chain (IL-12α) and the interleukin-35 beta chain (IL-35β). Research into IL-35 has gained attention due to its potential therapeutic implications in various diseases characterized by immune dysregulation, such as autoimmune disorders, cancers, and chronic inflammatory diseases. The reconstitution of IL-35 as a recombinant protein has several advantages, including the ability to study its biological activity, interaction with immune cells, and influence on inflammation and tolerance. Recombinant IL-35 can be utilized in experimental setups to explore its role in modulating T cell responses, enhancing regulatory T cell function, and suppressing pathogenic Th17 cell differentiation. Understanding the mechanisms by which IL-35 exerts its effects could pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies aimed at restoring balance in the immune system and treating conditions associated with excessive inflammation or insufficient immune responses. Researchers are particularly interested in how IL-35 could be harnessed for gene therapy, immunotherapy, and vaccine development, leveraging its properties to induce immune tolerance and improve outcomes in various clinical scenarios. As investigations continue, IL-35's restructured form promises to provide valuable insights into its utility as a biomolecule in both research and clinical applications.
