Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PPM1K, also known as Protein Phosphatase 2C, is a member of the protein phosphatase family that plays a critical role in cellular signaling processes by dephosphorylating various substrates, thereby regulating a wide range of biological functions including stress responses, cell cycle progression, and apoptosis. Its activity is particularly important in the context of cellular adaptation to stress and in the modulation of metabolic pathways. Research into PPM1K has gained momentum due to its involvement in various diseases, including cancer and metabolic disorders, where its dysregulation can contribute to disease progression. The recombinant expression of PPM1K has facilitated detailed biochemical studies, allowing researchers to investigate its enzymatic properties, substrate specificity, and regulatory mechanisms under various physiological conditions. This knowledge not only enhances our understanding of PPM1K’s biological functions but also holds potential for therapeutic interventions, as modulating its activity could lead to new strategies for treating diseases associated with its alteration. Overall, the study of recombinant PPM1K is crucial for elucidating its role in cellular dynamics and offers promising avenues for biomedical research.
