Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Peroxiredoxin 3 (PRDX3) is a member of the peroxiredoxin family, a class of antioxidant enzymes that play crucial roles in cellular redox regulation and the detoxification of reactive oxygen species (ROS). Located primarily in the mitochondria, PRDX3 is essential for maintaining mitochondrial function and cellular homeostasis. Its function is particularly relevant in various physiological processes, including cell proliferation, apoptosis, and response to oxidative stress. Dysregulation of PRDX3 expression has been implicated in various pathologies, including cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and cardiovascular disorders, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. Recent studies have focused on the recombinant expression of PRDX3 to elucidate its biochemical properties and interaction networks further. By generating recombinant PRDX3, researchers can study its enzymatic activities, structure-function relationships, and the molecular mechanisms underlying its role in counteracting oxidative stress. In addition, recombinant PRDX3 can serve as a valuable tool for drug discovery and the development of antioxidant therapies, making it a significant subject of investigation in both basic and applied biomedical research. Understanding the detailed mechanisms by which PRDX3 exerts its protective effects may lead to novel strategies for mitigating oxidative damage and improving disease outcomes.
