  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

POU3F2, also known as Oct6, is a member of the POU (Pit-Oct-Unc) family of transcription factors, playing a significant role in neural development and differentiation. It is primarily expressed in the central nervous system and is crucial for the development of oligodendrocytes, the myelinating cells of the brain. Research has increasingly focused on POU3F2 due to its involvement in various neurological processes and potential links to disorders such as multiple sclerosis, schizophrenia, and neurodegenerative diseases. The ability of POU3F2 to regulate gene expression suggests it could be a critical player in signaling pathways involved in neuronal maturation and survival. Recombining POU3F2 into recombinant proteins enables researchers to investigate its functional properties, interactions with other proteins, and downstream effects on gene regulation. Understanding POU3F2’s mechanisms will not only enhance our comprehension of brain development but may also lead to therapeutic strategies for treating neurological disorders associated with its dysregulation. As such, the study of POU3F2 recombinant proteins holds promise for advancing knowledge in neurobiology and potential clinical applications.
