Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C10orf71, also known as "chromosome 10 open reading frame 71," is a gene located on chromosome 10 that has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its association with various neurological disorders, particularly autosomal recessive retinitis pigmentosa (ARRP) and other retinal dystrophies. The protein encoded by C10orf71 is believed to play a crucial role in cellular processes, including mitochondrial function and the maintenance of photoreceptors in the retina. Research has indicated that mutations in this gene can disrupt normal protein function, leading to progressive vision loss. The study of C10orf71 recombinant proteins has advanced our understanding of the protein's structure and functional properties, allowing researchers to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying its association with disease. Investigating the biochemical characteristics of the C10orf71 protein can provide insights into its role in retinal cell biology and its potential impact on neurodegenerative processes. Furthermore, this knowledge may pave the way for the development of targeted therapeutic strategies aimed at mitigating the effects of mutations in the C10orf71 gene, ultimately offering hope for individuals affected by these debilitating conditions. Thus, ongoing research into C10orf71 recombinant proteins is crucial for unlocking the mysteries of retinal health and disease.
