Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C10orf4, also known as BRD2 (Bromodomain-containing protein 2), is a gene located on chromosome 10 that has attracted considerable attention for its potential role in various biological processes, particularly in cancer biology and immune regulation. This protein is known to possess bromodomains, which are protein interaction modules that recognize acetylated lysines on histones and other proteins, suggesting its involvement in the regulation of gene expression through chromatin remodeling. Research has indicated that C10orf4 may play a crucial role in both the proliferation and differentiation of cells, influencing pathways that are frequently dysregulated in cancers such as leukemia and breast cancer. Moreover, studies have shown that C10orf4 expression levels correlate with tumor progression and patient prognosis. Its dual role in cell cycle regulation and potential involvement in immune responses further underscores its significance in both cancer and autoimmunity. Consequently, the production of recombinant C10orf4 protein has become an essential focus, enabling detailed biochemical and functional analyses that could reveal new therapeutic targets or biomarkers. Additionally, understanding the interactions of C10orf4 with various proteins may provide insights into its role in epigenetic regulation and its potential as a candidate for targeted therapies in cancer treatment and other diseases where dysregulation of this gene occurs. Researchers are employing various expression systems for the efficient production of C10orf4 to investigate its structure-function relationships and to explore its therapeutic potential through high-throughput screening and structural biology approaches. Overall, the study of C10orf4 recombinant protein is crucial for elucidating its biological roles and its implications in health and disease.
