Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of the POPDC2 protein, a member of the Popeye domain-containing protein family, has garnered attention due to its potential role in various physiological processes and its involvement in human disease. POPDC2 is particularly expressed in cardiac tissues and skeletal muscle, where it is believed to play a crucial role in regulating cell signaling and maintaining cellular integrity. Research has shown that mutations in the POPDC2 gene are associated with specific myopathies and cardiac arrhythmias, highlighting its importance in muscle and cardiac function. Its distinct structural features, including Popeye domains that are thought to facilitate protein-protein interactions, suggest a complex regulatory mechanism at play. Investigating the functional implications of POPDC2 through recombinant protein studies can provide insights into its biological activity and interactions, offering potential therapeutic avenues for diseases linked to its dysfunction. Furthermore, understanding the pathways influenced by POPDC2 may reveal broader implications for muscle regeneration and heart health, making it a subject of significant biomedical interest. As the global prevalence of cardiovascular diseases and muscle disorders continues to rise, the exploration of POPDC2 not only advances fundamental knowledge in molecular biology but also contributes to the development of innovative strategies for diagnosis and treatment.
