Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PTH1R (Parathyroid Hormone 1 Receptor) is a critical G protein-coupled receptor that plays a significant role in regulating calcium and phosphate metabolism through its interaction with parathyroid hormone (PTH) and parathyroid hormone-related peptide (PTHrP). Dysregulation of PTH1R signaling is implicated in various bone and mineral disorders, including osteoporosis, hypoparathyroidism, and certain types of cancers. Due to the receptor's vital functions, understanding its structure and signaling mechanisms is essential for developing targeted therapies. Recombinant PTH1R proteins, generated through advanced biotechnological methods, facilitate the exploration of the receptor's properties, enabling researchers to investigate its ligand-binding characteristics and downstream signaling pathways. These studies can lead to insights into the pharmacological modulation of PTH1R, paving the way for novel treatments for calcium-related disorders. Moreover, the generation of PTH1R recombinant proteins serves as a platform for high-throughput screening of small molecules, which may identify new drug candidates that specifically target this receptor. Overall, the investigation of PTH1R recombinant proteins is crucial for advancing our understanding of mineral homeostasis and developing innovative therapeutic strategies for related diseases.
