  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

Interleukin-20 receptor alpha (IL20RA) is a crucial component of the interleukin-20 (IL-20) receptor complex, which plays a significant role in various physiological and pathological processes, including immune response, inflammation, and skin disorders. The IL-20 cytokine family, which includes IL-20, IL-24, and IL-22, is known to influence keratinocyte function and is implicated in the pathogenesis of skin diseases such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. Given its pivotal role in mediating inflammatory responses, IL20RA has garnered attention in therapeutic research, particularly as a potential target for treatments aimed at modulating immune responses in dermatological conditions. The production of recombinant IL20RA protein is essential for understanding its structure-function relationship and for the development of biologics that can inhibit or modify IL-20 signaling pathways. Studies involving recombinant IL20RA have focused on characterizing its binding affinity to ligands, elucidating downstream signaling mechanisms, and exploring its therapeutic potential in preclinical models. This research is critical for advancing targeted therapies that could offer new hope for patients suffering from chronic inflammatory skin diseases, ultimately contributing to improved clinical outcomes.
