Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
POLI, or Polyoma Virus Large T Antigen (LP), is a crucial protein involved in the regulation of cellular processes, particularly in DNA replication and cell cycle control. Research on POLI has gained significant attention due to its implications in viral pathogenesis and its potential role in oncogenesis, as it can contribute to the transformation of host cells. The POLI protein binds to various cellular proteins to modulate their functions, thereby impacting tumor suppressor pathways like those governed by p53 and Rb. Moreover, POLI's ability to interact with cellular machinery can provide insights into viral strategies for evading host immune responses. In the context of cancer research, understanding POLI's mechanisms can assist in developing therapeutic strategies targeting malignancies associated with Polyoma viruses. Furthermore, studies have focused on utilizing POLI as a model for understanding broader protein-protein interactions and post-translational modifications, which are critical for cellular signaling and homeostasis. Overall, POLI serves as a key focal point in virus-host interaction studies, offering valuable perspectives into both viral biology and cancer progression, making it a significant subject of ongoing scientific inquiry.
