Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PMS2CL, a protein involved in the mismatch repair (MMR) system, plays a critical role in maintaining genomic stability by correcting DNA replication errors. Deficiencies in MMR, including those involving PMS2, are associated with increased mutation rates and are linked to various cancers, particularly Lynch syndrome, a hereditary condition leading to colorectal and other cancers. The study of PMS2CL recombinant proteins aims to elucidate the structural and functional mechanisms underlying its role in MMR. By producing and characterizing these recombinant proteins, researchers can explore their interactions with other MMR components, investigate their enzymatic activities, and identify potential post-translational modifications that may affect their function. Understanding the biology of PMS2CL can provide insights into its contributions to cancer development and highlight potential therapeutic targets. Moreover, the recombinant forms of PMS2CL can be utilized in high-throughput screening assays to discover small molecules that may enhance its function or restore activity in defective MMR systems. This research not only advances our comprehension of fundamental DNA repair processes but also fosters the development of novel strategies for cancer prevention and treatment.
