Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BAG6, also known as Bcl-2-associated athanogene 6, is a ubiquitously expressed protein that plays a crucial role in cellular protein homeostasis and quality control. It is part of the BAG family of proteins, which are known to interact with heat shock proteins (HSPs) and contribute to the management of misfolded or damaged proteins. Research has increasingly focused on BAG6 due to its involvement in various cellular processes, including protein degradation, autophagy, and immune responses. Studies have shown that BAG6 acts as a co-chaperone, facilitating the recognition and degradation of substrates by the proteasome, thereby preventing the accumulation of toxic proteins. Furthermore, BAG6 has been implicated in different diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, due to its regulatory functions in cell survival and apoptosis. Understanding the mechanisms by which BAG6 operates can provide insights into its potential as a therapeutic target, offering opportunities for the development of novel treatment strategies aimed at enhancing protein quality control in diseased cells. The recombinant expression of BAG6 protein enables detailed biochemical and structural characterization, further elucidating its role in cellular processes. Research into BAG6 continues to expand, highlighting its significance in maintaining cellular integrity and its potential impacts on health and disease.
