Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PLA2G6, also known as phospholipase A2 group VI, is a crucial enzyme involved in lipid metabolism and inflammation, playing significant roles in various physiological processes. Its dysfunction has been linked to a range of neurodegenerative diseases, including Parkinson's disease and neurodegeneration with brain iron accumulation (NBIA). Research on recombinant PLA2G6 protein is essential for understanding its structural and functional properties, which may facilitate the development of therapeutic strategies targeting these disorders. The production of recombinant PLA2G6 allows for the detailed study of its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and interaction with other cellular components. Moreover, insights gained from this research can elucidate the underlying mechanisms of PLA2G6-related pathologies, potentially leading to innovative approaches for diagnosis and treatment. As such, the investigation of recombinant PLA2G6 not only advances our knowledge of lipid signaling pathways but also holds promise for addressing the clinical challenges posed by neurodegenerative diseases associated with this enzyme.
