Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RECQL, a member of the RecQ helicase family, plays a crucial role in maintaining genomic stability and is implicated in various cellular processes, including DNA replication, repair, and recombination. Mutations in the RECQL gene are associated with several genetic disorders, such as Bloom syndrome and Werner syndrome, which are characterized by premature aging and increased cancer susceptibility. The study of RECQL's protein structure and function is vital for understanding its mechanisms in cellular contexts and identifying potential therapeutic targets for related diseases. Recent advances in biophysical techniques have facilitated the characterization of RECQL's enzymatic activities, revealing its essential role in unwinding DNA structures. This research not only enhances our understanding of RECQL's role in normal physiology but also sheds light on its involvement in pathological conditions, highlighting the importance of helicases in maintaining genomic integrity. As researchers continue to explore RECQL's interactions with other proteins and its regulation, these findings could provide insights into developing strategies to combat cancers associated with genetic instability.
