Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NPEPPS, or Neurolysin-like Peptidase, is a key enzyme involved in the processing of neuropeptides, which are critical for various physiological functions, including pain modulation, stress response, and neuroendocrine signaling. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of NPEPPS in diverse biological processes, particularly in the central nervous system, where it acts to regulate neuropeptide activity, thereby influencing neuronal communication and behavior. The overexpression or dysfunction of NPEPPS has been linked to several neurodegenerative diseases and psychiatric disorders, emphasizing the need for a deeper understanding of its structure and function. The recombinant production of NPEPPS enables researchers to explore its catalytic mechanisms and substrate specificity, facilitating the development of targeted therapeutics. By utilizing advanced techniques in protein engineering and structural biology, researchers are aiming to characterize the enzymatic properties of NPEPPS in detail. This research not only aims to elucidate the role of NPEPPS in health and disease but also seeks to provide insights into potential therapeutic interventions for conditions associated with neuropeptide dysregulation. Overall, the study of NPEPPS recombinant proteins is pivotal in advancing our knowledge of neuropeptide biology and its implications for neuropsychiatric health.
