Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PILRB (Paired Immunoglobulin-Like Type B Receptor) is a pivotal immune checkpoint receptor belonging to the Ig superfamily, primarily expressed on myeloid cells, including macrophages and dendritic cells. Its discovery has garnered significant attention in the field of immunology due to its role in regulating immune responses. Specifically, PILRB's interaction with its ligands mediates inhibitory signals, thus modulating the activation and proliferation of immune cells. This function is critical in maintaining immune homeostasis and preventing excessive inflammation or autoimmunity. Research has highlighted the potential of targeting PILRB pathways in various therapeutic contexts, particularly cancer immunotherapy, where the functional blockade of inhibitory receptors could enhance anti-tumor immunity. Moreover, understanding PILRB's molecular mechanisms and signaling pathways is essential for elucidating its contributions to immune regulation and its implications in diseases. As such, the study of PILRB-recombinant proteins is essential for developing novel immunotherapeutic strategies aimed at enhancing immune responses against tumors and chronic infections, making it a significant focus in contemporary biomedical research.
