Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ITGA5, or Integrin Alpha 5, is a vital protein that plays a crucial role in cell adhesion, migration, and signaling processes within the extracellular matrix (ECM). As a member of the integrin family, ITGA5 forms partnerships with other subunits to create functional heterodimers, most notably with integrin beta-1 (ITGB1), resulting in the formation of the fibronectin receptor, which is essential for various physiological processes including wound healing, embryogenesis, and tissue repair. Dysregulation of ITGA5 has been implicated in several pathological conditions, such as cancer metastasis, where increased expression is often associated with enhanced tumor invasion and poor prognosis. Additionally, ITGA5 has been studied for its potential role in fibrotic diseases and cardiovascular disorders. Research focusing on the recombinant expression of ITGA5 protein is crucial for understanding its structural and functional properties, as well as its interactions with other biomolecules. The availability of recombinant ITGA5 allows scientists to explore its biochemical pathways, develop targeted therapies, and investigate its role as a biomarker in disease contexts. Moreover, the ability to produce ITGA5 in a laboratory setting enhances the feasibility of large-scale studies and facilitates the advancement of therapeutic strategies that could mitigate the adverse effects associated with its aberrant expression. Overall, the study of ITGA5 recombinant proteins is fundamental to unraveling the complexities of cell-ECM interactions and developing innovative approaches for treating diseases linked to integrin dysfunction.
