Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
VIL (Vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-2-interacting protein) is a protein that has garnered significant attention in biomedical research due to its role in vascular biology and potential implications in cancer therapy. It is involved in various cellular processes, including angiogenesis, cell proliferation, and migration, which are critical for both normal physiology and pathological conditions. The study of VIL and its interactions with vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) receptor-2 has revealed insights into how endothelial cells communicate with their microenvironment, influencing blood vessel formation and stability. Recent research has focused on characterizing the structural and functional properties of VIL, as well as its potential as a therapeutic target in diseases characterized by abnormal angiogenesis, such as tumors and diabetic retinopathy. Understanding the molecular mechanisms governing VIL function may pave the way for novel treatments aimed at modulating angiogenesis and improving outcomes in various vascular-related disorders. As researchers continue to explore the pathways involving VIL, the development of VIL-based recombinant proteins holds the promise of not only elucidating the intricate network of vascular signaling but also providing innovative strategies for therapeutic interventions.
