Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
THOC1 (THO Complex Subunit 1) is a critical component of the THO complex, which plays a vital role in the transcription and export of mRNA from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. It is involved in the process of mRNA maturation, ensuring the proper assembly of messenger RNA molecules and their subsequent transport, which is essential for gene expression regulation. Research into THOC1 has gained traction due to its implications in various cellular processes and diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Abnormalities in its function may lead to disrupted mRNA transport, contributing to the pathology of these diseases. Additionally, THOC1 has been found to interact with several RNA-binding proteins and other components of the mRNA export machinery, making it a key player in post-transcriptional regulation. Understanding THOC1's structure and function through recombinant protein studies is crucial for elucidating its role in cellular biology and developing potential therapeutic strategies. The production of recombinant THOC1 protein allows researchers to investigate its biochemical properties, interaction partners, and functional mechanisms, thereby advancing our knowledge of mRNA metabolism and its implications in health and disease.
