Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BACH1 (Bach1, also known as BTB and CNC homology 1) is a transcription factor that plays a crucial role in regulating cellular responses to oxidative stress and heme metabolism. As a member of the Cap'n'Collar (CNC) family of proteins, BACH1 is known to function as a repressor of antioxidant genes by binding to antioxidant response elements (AREs) in their promoter regions. Under conditions of low heme concentrations, BACH1 accumulates in the nucleus, leading to the suppression of these protective genes, which can contribute to increased cellular vulnerability to oxidative damage. Conversely, when heme levels rise, BACH1 undergoes a conformational change and is targeted for ubiquitination and degradation, which relieves the repression on antioxidant gene expression. This regulation is vital for maintaining redox homeostasis and is implicated in various pathological conditions, including cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and cardiovascular disorders. The study of BACH1 and the development of recombinant BACH1 proteins have garnered interest for potential therapeutic applications. By utilizing recombinant DNA technology, researchers are generating BACH1 proteins to elucidate its structure-function relationship and interact with other cellular pathways, thereby paving the way for targeted therapies aimed at enhancing cellular resilience against oxidative stress and potentially mitigating the impact of oxidative damage in various diseases. Understanding the mechanisms of BACH1's action offers promising insights into novel strategies for therapeutic intervention and emphasizes the importance of redox biology in health and disease.
