  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

DDX23 is a member of the DEAD-box helicase family, primarily involved in RNA metabolism, including transcription, splicing, and translation. This protein has garnered significant attention due to its critical roles in gene expression regulation and its potential implications in various diseases, such as cancer and viral infections. Recent studies have indicated that DDX23 may influence the stability and translation of specific mRNAs, thereby affecting cellular responses to stress and contributing to tumorigenesis. The exploration of DDX23 as a recombinant protein in research has opened avenues for understanding its mechanistic functions and interactions with nucleic acids and other proteins. By studying DDX23 in vitro, researchers aim to elucidate its biochemical properties, identify binding partners, and explore its functional roles in different cellular contexts. Additionally, the development of DDX23 recombinant proteins provides a valuable tool for investigating its potential as a therapeutic target, given its involvement in critical cellular processes. Overall, the study of DDX23 is crucial not only for deciphering fundamental aspects of RNA biology but also for its translational potential in disease intervention strategies.
