Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RPTOR (Regulatory Associated Protein of mTOR) is a critical component of the mTORC1 complex, which plays a pivotal role in cellular growth, proliferation, and metabolism by integrating signals from nutrients, growth factors, and energy status. Given its central role in regulating protein synthesis and cellular homeostasis, RPTOR has attracted significant interest in the fields of cancer research and metabolic disorders. Dysregulation of the mTOR signaling pathway, often involving RPTOR, is implicated in various pathologies, including obesity, diabetes, and tumorigenesis. Understanding RPTOR's structure and function at the molecular level is crucial for developing therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating the mTOR pathway. Recent advances in recombinant protein technology have enabled scientists to produce RPTOR in various expression systems, facilitating detailed studies of its interactions, post-translational modifications, and regulatory mechanisms. This ongoing research provides opportunities for identifying novel drug targets and therapeutic interventions that could stabilize or disrupt mTORC1 signaling in disease contexts, making RPTOR a compelling focus for future biomedical research.
