Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PGRMC1 (Progesterone Receptor Membrane Component 1) is a 25 kDa protein that plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, including cell survival, proliferation, and differentiation. Initially identified as a receptor for progesterone, PGRMC1 has since been implicated in non-genomic signaling pathways that influence cell behavior in response to hormones and other stimuli. Its involvement in cancer biology has garnered significant attention, as elevated levels of PGRMC1 are often associated with poor prognosis in various malignancies, including breast and ovarian cancers. Recent studies have also highlighted PGRMC1's role in modulating the effects of other steroid hormones and its interaction with key signaling molecules. Consequently, recombinant PGRMC1 protein has become a valuable tool for researchers seeking to elucidate its functional mechanisms and explore its potential as a therapeutic target. Understanding the structure and dynamics of PGRMC1 through recombinant protein studies can provide insights into its interaction networks, leading to the identification of novel strategies for cancer treatment and the development of targeted therapies. As research continues to uncover the multifaceted roles of PGRMC1 in human health and disease, the recombinant protein serves as a foundation for advancing our knowledge and developing interventions that may mitigate the effects of steroid hormone dysregulation.
