Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RGS20, a member of the Regulator of G protein Signaling (RGS) family, plays a crucial role in modulating G protein signaling pathways, which are integral to numerous physiological processes and cellular responses. It is predominantly associated with the desensitization of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs), impacting neuronal signaling, cardiac function, and inflammatory responses. The study of RGS20 has gained attention due to its potential implications in various diseases, including cancer and neurological disorders, where dysregulated G protein signaling is often observed. Understanding the structure and function of RGS20, particularly through recombinant protein studies, is pivotal for elucidating its biological roles and engineering potential therapeutic interventions. By examining the interactions between RGS20 and its molecular partners, researchers aim to uncover new insights into GPCR signal transduction mechanisms, creating opportunities for drug development targeting G protein signaling pathways. Thus, the exploration of RGS20 as a recombinant protein serves to bridge the gap between basic research and therapeutic applications, making it a significant focus in molecular biology and pharmacology.
